Comments: As M.E.C.H. is shown going into action it is one fast paced thrill ride to excitement. He moves with purpose. The initial set-up of the character is something unique in comics.
The art does have a Jack Kirby feel to it. The characters are drawn with lots of muscles. The laboratory or base for M.E.C.H. is designed well.
M.E.C.H. has a different way of rescuing an aircraft. It is unexpected.
In Chapter Two the story really starts out with a mind blowing scene. The M.E.C.H. robot seems alive and Tommy we see is scared and has no idea what to do since the robot should not be able to move without him controlling it. What is going on? Is this real? It does seem like it.
At times the art does lack in focus on the people. It needs a tighter fit, not just to flow as one body but to show that body is made up of more than one part.
The Compu-M.E.C.H. program is dangerous for its user Tommy. Being a super-hero does come at a cost. Dr. Green and Tommy work as a team to make this project work.
There is a wonderfully illustrated pin-up style page of M.E.C.H. above the city. He is posed over looking it as Tommy and Dr. Green look on.
Tommy and Dr. Green both need to have full names. The characters do need to be explored more.
We are given a brief origin story which is short and to the point.
This is a great first issue overall and you see M.E.C.H. and he is a hero for the future. Tommy and the M.E.C.H. mesh well forming one super-hero that will have you wanting to see more of him in action.

Comments: There is a creature in the Pacific Ocean and it is huge and menacing. The colors on it are done so well. They are bright and bold.
The recap shows M.E.C.H. as a hero which he is. The art and the poses used clearly bring across his character.
The underwater suit for M.E.C.H. is a nice design. As M.E.C.H. auto piloted by Tommy dives into the ocean to retrieve the radioactive canister you know he is on a collision course with that terrifying monstrous creature. The suspense is built up.
As M.E.C.H. fights the creature you can feel the deadly danger that it presents.
M.E.C.H. also gets to take on some smugglers. There is lots of action here.
A rich man, Ralph Lark finds himself stranded on an island. As M.E.C.H. starts his search for Ralph he is illustrated in a beautifully rendered pose floating in the sky. Than as M.E.C.H. finds Ralph he also finds a tiger and uses a unique way to defeat it.
One thing that stands out in this issue and the previous ones is that Dr. Green and Tommy both want to help others. Both are pure in what they wish to achieve.
Tommy using M.E.C.H. has declared war on illegal weapons. Now though they are fighting back the criminals with those illegal weapons.
This comic is full of all out action in the Mighty Monolith Style you do not want to miss this.
The colors are eye popping here. They really do jump out at you. The coloring on Lesa Mace's hair is stunning.
Tommy is in a situation that affects not just him but others. Others threaten those close to him and with Dr. Green's support he acts.
M.E.C.H. is drawn in some hard hitting action as he takes on the military. M.E.C.H. comes into this battle knowing what to do and how to win. It is great to see him so prepared.
A doctor works hard to cure his son and you get a sense of the love he has for him. Here we see the creation of a new villain the Death Shroud. He has a maniacal presence. When M.E.C.H. engages him it is different and more difficult fighting a man with super powers. This battle ends differently than you would expect. Death Shroud is a villain that you will want to see again.
As M.E.C.H. teleports something different happens and he finds himself back in prehistory time. The animals are large and rough looking. M.E.C.H. is looking rough in how he is drawn as well. The Wooly Mammoths now these are so well drawn you need to see these. The story throws in a interesting twist just for fun.
Tommy and his using the M.E.C.H. unit are all about helping others. As you read about M.E.C.H. you will find your respect for this hero growing. He is all about caring about and helping others.
M.E.C.H. does race off to the rescue. Three men are trapped on a mountain. Tommy aka M.E.C.H. finds himself under attack by a viscous pack of wolves.
Tommy acts really stupidly when given a choice between being a hero or being with the woman he loves he does not know which to chose.
The M.E.C.H. robot is given a computer chip that allows it to operate on its own. This new life is an amazing being.
Manamal we see come to life. He was born of an unnatural birthing process. This child was mutated into a creature both cow and human. The effect is a monstrous being. The art delivers a deformed and powerful creature. M.EC.H. engages this Manamal in battle. they do have a furious battle.
Next up the M.E.C.H. robot going into action without Tommy in control. This is its second mission. This mission ends just like a fairy tale.
It is wonderful to see a true hero in Tommy and in the M.E.C.H. tech.
