This is a very simple book with about two hundred words of text. It includes wonderful illustrations by artist Robert Neubecker. I think about thirty pages in entire book. This is a story about two dogs named Fanny and Blue. Fanny's all white and Blue's kind of gray. They're not to smart but they're loyal and true to person. Theere's nothing the owner would trade for Fanny and Blue. The dogs are always together like a sock and a shoe. Fanny's a girl and Blue is a boy. They love to chase squirrels. Fanny's real small and Blue's midsize. The little one is twelve and the big one is two. The dogs have never learned a single trick. They are though very loyal and even enjoy belly rugs and morning walks. They are always there to greet you when the day is through. The author even tells how Fanny goes yip. Blue barks go Ruff. They are the best companions to author and there is no way that author would trade them for any other pet.
This is a very simple story which can be read in matter of minutes. It does though tell about the love of person for two dogs named Fanny and Ruff.
This is also wrote by movie and television actor John Lithgow. I also notice has wrote several other children's books. I really enjoyed "I Got two Dogs" story. It did not matter that I am adult. I do though notice this is children's book.
