Comments: The word balloons are beautifully done and colored.
Ara, Kasper and Tongo find themselves under attack in the air. It is a well thought out attack and one of our heroes pays a price.
Torinthal is in a teaching mood. He wants Luna Ara's mother to obey his wishes without question. He teaches her a lesson in survival.
This issue things move slowly and the art does not show off the characters. The clouds do get show a few times and they are all well drawn. The monstrous flying creature is a frighting sight.

A worm and a bird with a broken time machine wonder through time. Here they encounter a herd of frogs. One frog is huge and wormier is scared out of his wits. These two Wormier and Griff are funny to watch their actions as they interact with each other.

As Ara and her two companions soar through the sky the setting is a gorgeous sight to see. The clouds are majestic. The skin tones on the three characters look wonderful.

Wormier and Griff find one you can not trust frogs. The art is cute in its cartoon style. The story does not explain why the pipes exist. They remain a mystery. Wormier and Griff continue on their adventure and where it leads no one knows.

Comments: It is daughter vs mother as Ara faces Luna and the other d'jinn's to. Torinthal controls four d'jinn and in their home realm he is using them. Anjaha makes his appearance and he appears to be like a super d'jinn. This battle is over way to fast. The poses could have been much better to show more action ad excitement.
Ara though did achieve her goal. In so doing though she lost something important to her yet in another way gained something. Her mother Luna is happy now with her own kind.
The last page of this issue and series is a gorgeous pin-up piece of Ara. She is posed in her armor and looking so beautiful as a warrior and princess against a snowy background.
Bonus Story! featuring Aspen Mascots! "What a Drag!" Writer Vince Hernandez, pencil & inks Joie Foster, colors Justice and letterer Micah Myers.
The worm and bird make it home to the worm's home. Yes Wormier is there to save his people but can he. What awaits him is a threat so dangerous that not even having a griffin to help him will help. The art is beautifully done showing the danger they face. The power and deadliness of it come through.
