The shadows are made good use of in this comic. They show off a different world that lays just beyond the ordinary one.

When Ginny Death's Daughter appears. You know she is to be feared yet Frank will face her to learn the truth.
The story is told on multiple levels and each melds into the other to present a well layered story of life and death.
Title: Pretty Deadly: The Rat # 2
The style of art is hard to describe. It does have a old style feel to it which fits the time of the story.

Comments: Sissy or the new Death is not what you would expect. Ginny is the Reaper of Vengeance. Now a Conjure-Man aka Frank has suffered a lose. Conjure-Man is hurting since his niece died. He wants justice and revenge.
Ginny and Frank are on the case in this strange weird mystery case. Their first suspect is Jack Kaufman a film producer.
The art does have an old style feel to it which fits the story. Plus of course the way weird things are drawn in.
Here where Death resides it is referred to as the Garden. Sissy the new Death is bring life to it. Which is weird having Death bring life. Everything going on in this book is weird and sometimes hard to follow and understand completely.
Ginny was in the background to much in this issue. When she was used her personality most of the time did not stand out. The best scene was her almost drawing Jack Kaufman and hitting him on the head with a pipe.
This comic is a little off and it is suppose to be.
