I wrote this in Winter of 2007. The story can be read online at included link.
Dear Johnny DC:
I couldn’t think of a better time for Yetti story in Scooby-Doo # 116. A brisk artic wind was blowing outside my house. Wind chills were -40 degrees. Winter had returned to my area making it difficult to do anything outside. My car did not want to start until I used battery charger. I was lucky though not to get lake effect zone of New York. I could not even imagine over 10 inches of snow in short period of time. Skiers would be glad though to enjoy winter sport. I can imagine Scooby-Doo gang going to the Italian Alps for a little winter fun. My greatest mystery was how would Scooby learn how to ski? Lady in pink ski outfit reminded me of old cartoon character Penelope Pit Stop. It was just a quick fleeting snap shot memory. I really was not sure of the identity of the Montgenevr yeti. I actually thought Chidmo Vincenzo was in the yeti costume. I would have never guessed that Luigi was yeti. Also, girl that I thought was Penelope had brown hair instead of blonde. Yippie! The case was closed in time for Thomas to break world ski record.
I really felt I learned something in Tsokomagami second story. I will Velma taught me new things about monsters of the world. I would hate to see my kitchen fork, spoons or knives turning into vengeful Obakles. I feel it would take more than haunted cutlery from Scooby and Shaggy opening refrigerator or picnic basket.
I also liked solution of final story. Mystery of the Alaska expedition linked yeti idea from first story. I actually wondered if Olympic athlete Luigi had escaped from the Italian Alps police. Mystery was hard for me to figure out. I should have been taking better notes. Confusion had led train riders to think yeti had taken Mr. askew. I thought original not to have some sort of crazy monster terrorize train and kidnap Mr. Askew. Now the only plot to solve was will there be enough snow on mountain to feed Shaggy and Scooby-Doo. I looked as area as one big snow cone. I put on my imaginary chef hat and made huge snow cone for Scooby-Doo and Shaggy. I also brought out ice cream treats for duo.
