I read the novel Sleeping Beauties several years ago. I even reviewed novel at that time here at Jazma. I was happy to see that novel may even be made into some sort of live version on one of the cable networks.
I was very impressed with treatment given to graphic novel. It is easy to cut out too many parts from long novel. I felt stayed very true to novel content. I have no idea how many comic books it will take to tell novels story.
Here is my review of novel link.

I just checked out novel and graphic novel out from library.
Here is what back cover of the $ 19.99 graphic novel says.
The official graphic novel adaption of Stephen King and Owen King's Sleeping Beauties by Rob Youers and Allison Sampson is a haunting interpretation of the chilling timely New York Times bestselling novel.
A bizarre sleeping sickness, called aurora, has fallen over the world. Its victims can't wake up. And all of them are women. As nations all fall into chaos, those women still awake take desperate measures to stay that way, and men everywhere begin to give in to their darkest impulses. Meanwhile, in the small town of Dooling, a mysterious woman has walked out of the woods; she calls herself Eve and leaves a trail of carnage in her wake. Strangest of all, she's the only woman that can wake up.
